Started in 1987 by Jeanne Cross and Peggy Kerr Holmes, Piedmont Classic Hunter Series is based at Steeple Hill Farm in Summerfield, NC.  In 2007 the series celebrated its 20th year of showing, and the year end champions were awarded Director's Chairs with a logo to commemorate the occasion.
